The Phantom VEO-E 340L is a 4 Mpx sensor delivered in 35mm format.  With data throughput at 3 Gpx/second this high-speed camera is perfect for college and university laboratory settings as it allows researchers to use view fine details through high quality and readily available optics while still achieving the frame rates required for a variety of subject matter.

Flexibility is critical for any research tool at a college or university.  Interchangeable lens mounts increase the camera flexibility by allowing users to decide which lens is best for which activity. Nikon, PL, C, and Canon EF (with electronic control) lenses are compatible with the VEO-E and alternating between them is simple and quick.

The body of the VEO-E camera is constructed from milled aluminium and is designed to be extremely lightweight.  The lightest of the VEO series of cameras the E body style is only 4 lbs and built to protect the most sensitive internal parts of the camera. The electronics are sealed to protest from airflow thereby lowering the possibility that dust will gather on the sensor.

The VEO-E body style is about 20% lighter and smaller than other VEO L-series cameras.  These cameras are also require less power (40W as opposed to ~70W).

Most of the features that the VEO L-body style have to offer exist in the VEO-E with two exceptions:  The VEO-E will not support 10Gb Ethernet connectivity (the VEO-E has standard Gb Ethernet) and the maximum RAM configuration is 36GB.
